Youth Week 2012

With National Youth Week coming up in April (13^th to 22^nd) Maitland City Council is looking for young people living in the Maitland area to get involved.

We want local young people to be part of a Youth Week Steering Committee that will provide direction to Youth Week events and funding in Maitland.

The Youth Week Steering Committee will meet at Hunter headspace centre (73 Elgin St, Maitland) on Tuesday the 14^th of February and Thursday the 15^th of March – 4.30pm-6.30pm.

If you are a young person who wants to be involved, or someone who works with a young person who wants to be involved please contact Jo Whelan in Council’s community planning department (on 4934 9753) for further details.

What is the Community Directory?

The Maitland Community Directory is an on-line facility that allows you to search for specific organisations, population groups (e.g. children, disabilities, women), services and sub-service areas. It's a breeze to use and allows access to information about local groups including contact details, newsletters and events.
