What is the Community Directory?
Are you looking for answers to questions about local community services and organisations; or wish to find out what services are available within the Maitland community?
The Maitland Community Directory is an on-line facility that allows you to search for specific organisations, population groups (e.g. children, disabilities, women), services and sub-service areas. It's a breeze to use and allows access to information about local groups including contact details, newsletters and events.
GET LISTED: How can your Community Organisation be included in the Community Directory?
The Community Directory is free to organisations and groups providing community services and activities in the Maitland area. Click here to download an application form, call us on (02) 4934 9700 or email mcc@maitland.nsw.gov.au.
What is a Member?
A member is a member of a community organisation. As a member, you have access to "member only" information, as well as "subscriber" information of that organisation. Becoming a member may involve formal application including nomination and membership fees, and is subject to being granted membership by the community organisation. To become a member, contact the Group for membership details.
What is a Subscriber?
If you wish to receive newsletters and other public information, such as up-coming events etc, then you can become a subscriber. You will not receive information or have access to "member only" information. If you wish to subscribe to an organisation, click on Become a Subscriber from the menu or follow the links on each Community Groups' page.
